Just rolled past 90,000 kms.
Also changed the throttle body, had "P2135" show up. Runs great now.

Just about to rollover 200k kilometers. I don't know the first owner, but I know the second owner who I bought the car from very well. It was an excellent car for him, in 3 years of ownership the only thing aside from maintenance was an issue with the wheel speed sensor. I am hoping it is much more of the same for me (knock on wood.)

06 G35X sedan, 175k. Just did oil change, tranny drain/fill, transfer case drain/fill, both differentials drained and filled with mobil 1 75w-90 synthetic. Been doing this every 30k since i got her 4yrs ago. Still running like a champ.

Not the strong points of the car? I have a sedan.

In order to make unintresting story short... No I can't do it!

1. Tryed to open frozen passenger door window with no luck. (Why?!)
2. Next warmer day it was half open, but not working. (Naturally)
3. I had to go. Emergencia. So I opened the door and took out the motor. (Youtube is perfect)
4. Without motor at the door, glass simply drops down... (Stupid me.)
5. Had some IKEA furniture stickers... So I figured out that I can hold window up by sticking these stickers on the glass (not damaging the paint). (Worked.)
6. It worked for few days until have to replace stickers with new ones. IKEA's are not that far in Sweden. (Not too bad...)
7. Infiniti is not sold much in Europe, finding replacement motor from second hand car is almost impossible. I found one FX35 with same motor, but price for this 13 year old window motor was little more than new one is at US. Didn't buy it. (Yes. I am cheap.)
8. Figured out that two thickest wires must be motor wires, other 4 ones is just for CAN and pulse generator s**t. Gave this motor a good shot with DC power supply and motor was running just fine. (Why I did not do this at day one...)
9. Put the f***ing motor back to door, made calibration mambo-jambo as told in service manual. And it worked just fine. Better than new. (Sweet.)

Gotta love this car. It does not drink juice from dealers fancy tester at 100 USD per hour.
NO, these can simply fix themself.

120k miles on the clock.

Over 300 000 MILES NOW!

Had the same problem with my window motor as well. These motors apparently last a really long time. The switch just went bad.

Hmm, sounds like something worth trying since 3 out of the 4 windows in my car are flakey now.
