The current owner, besides being near illiterate, doesn't know what brand the rims are nor what size tires are on it.
He also claims no other mods. Though he acknowledges that the AC is on constantly and the radio doesn't work. Says the dealership told him that's a $550 fix.
Anyway, can anyone identify what rims these are? And most likely tire size?
I told him screw it, get a coupe... but...
Thanks for any help, all.

He has done quite a few mods on his G35 I can already assume. Look at the LED board on the front bumper, as well as the wheels and drop. I'm not sure, but they look like they are 20 inch rims.
Also, the radio/AC being constantly on is a $500 fix, at least in California it is
It's really annoying, if your coworker is serious about getting that car, make sure he gets it fixed within that day, otherwise gas mileage will be terrible. I had mine like that for quite a few weeks before I eventually had time to drive and get it fixed.
How much is he selling it for? 105,000 miles is a tad bit high.

He wants $8900 for it, but that's a want...
I can't tell there is a drop, looks high to me. But one more thing to check out.
Thanks!

It's hard to tell with the angles of the pictures taken if it's dropped or not. It's worth looking at, but I wouldn't pay anywhere near 9 grand for it.

He is also a great photographer.
The radio A/C issue is a common problem so most people just trash the OE and get an after market DD. Like PAIXAO said it's hard to tell from those pictures so If the car is lowered it's an inch or less.
It's definitely worth taking a look at, but I would go over it with a fine tooth comb twice then get any and all service records. I have a hard time taking some ones word (claims of service done on time, etc.) when they present themselves like that. Spell check takes 10 seconds and it even corrects grammar.

I'd call that potentially a $500-1000 fix for the hvac/radio board issue. It's common with 03s
Personally...I don't like that car much. Would need to see the interior and engine bay and really get a sense of how clean it's. I hate the LED on the front and the rims are fugly.
Personally...I'd pass.

^+1, be patient in looking for your G, don't rush into anything that you aren't 100% happy with.

Give me the VIN and your email and I will forward you a Autocheck report on the car.
The HVAC and Radio means $500 to get a new ac control unit / aftermarket radio + dash kit.
The car probably needs Belts, Plugs, Transmission fluid, coolant fluid, differential fluid, compression rod bushing. I would also check into brakes as well as window motor regulators that crap out. Tell the seller to remove the rims and put it back to stock and sell it for $5800. With rims max $7k and $7500 is really pushing it for that mileage and condition. I would ask for all service history and if no history can be reproduced than expect $1500 in maintenance.

this car Has clean carfax but autobody unibody frame damage on Autocheck
