Brakes Amber spray paint?

I wanted to paint my brake calipers amber orange so it would match my gauges and all the new Amber Leds i ordered for the car. i bought some orange high temp paint but it isnt even close to amber orange. If anyone knows where to buy actual spray paint not the lens paint i would love to know thanks!

Not sure how it would hold up on calipers, but I think Shermin Williams can mix-up custom spray paint for you.

Otherwise, I would just do some searching online for caliper paint and see what colors are available.

Not to rain on your parade, but I don't think you'd like the outcome.

Stock G calipers are pretty dang small and look even smaller when painted to highlight them. If you ever decide to run a larger diameter (19s or 20s) open face wheel (spoker or even mesh) they're going to look even smaller..

I'd think twice, but your car, your decision.

look around the forums and see which cars look nice with painted calipers and which don't - maybe you already have. It will give you a reference point at least.

What color is your car? Any mods? Nothing in your sig or garage to guide us.

Amber stock calipers?? Please don't.

If you have Brembo's that's one thing, but color-coordinating your stock brake calipers to lights just isn't right

Do not paint the stock calipers. They are tiny and ugly. The last thing you ever want to do is paint them orange and draw attention to them.

I agree with what the others are saying. Stock calipers should really only be painted black or silver.

+1,000,000. Coloring stock calipers with anything other than black or silver just looks tacky and cheap.

I know I've posted this pic before of my setup, but all you need is a little neutral color paint and just keep it looking clean and new and it stands out on it's own. No need for flash.

The 05/06 calipers (except 05x) are aluminum, so a little silver paint makes them look brand new cast aluminum. I even painted the rotors as well. Matches my 7-spokes very well
