transmission fluid change

^ there is a hot and cold markings on the PS and Tranny Dipstick so there is some expansion. Under temp

But, it wont be that much over filled and you can just drain a little of the fluid out until the proper level is achieved. Just make sure its all set before you start driving.

The video shows how to take another 2.5qts out near the radiator. Is this worth the extra work? 4 out of 10 quarts seems like such a small change.

I drain just the pan and swap out 4 qts. every 20,000 miles. So my fluid has been completely changed every 60,000 miles and that's good enough for me.

I've never done the radiator hose.

Hi I guys,
I am new to the forum and I have looked for info on my problem and nothing came up so I thought I would put it on here since this is were my problem started. I changed my tranny oil yesterday and filled it up to where it should be at according to the dip stick and now when it is cold and I try to drive it, it revs up to 4k before going do you guys know anything that can cause this. I have a 05 coupe 5at

Have you checked the level with the fluid hot and engine running?

Yea I have and it reads right in the middle of the indicator

glad somebody posted this up, the shop told me tuesday that it would be about $330 to have it done, I think ill do it myself now

How many miles and how much fluid you change?

Sound like the trans is slipping when cold.

It has almost 80k miles and I just drained the pan. I put 3 3/4 quarts back In it.

is there any AT filter in 2005 g35 sedan? I am planning to drain and refill. do i need to do anything else like drop and clean the pan? it will be done at infi dealer so just wanted to know what they will be doing.
