Amber Dash Display Cleaning Help
Amber Dash Display Cleaning Help
Hey guys- been a while since I posted but have a detail issue I want to get your opinions on.
The amber readout that's over the dash clock that gives interior, exterior temperature, compass readings is fogged. I don't know how. I've tried cleaning it with a non-ammonia based glass/surface cleaner but it seems to make it worse almost. The most caustic thing I can imagine I have ever put on the dash is some armor-all wipes but I can't imagine that would do such harm.
What are some of your thoughts for the best way to clean these display lenses. Is there a polish that works really well or sumthin?
I need to get some fresh pics up in here of my sedan. Just mounted some new 19's with Nitto Envos and they look great on my Emerald Myst car. Need it washed tho before I post.

i noticed the same thing after getting leather cleaner on the display. im sure thats why it says to keep off plastic. you can use meguiars plast-x or some other type of plastic polish. ive had good luck with a little bit of rubbing compound, which is pretty much the same thing.
