I have reset the flashing light numerous amount of times but still keeps on flashing.

Any suggestions?

 

Flashing light indicates system problem , Go to mechanic that has Nissan code reader and find out which bag is throwing the code,
Do you have Racing Seats?

 

I have had the same issue since January. I finally took it to the dealer this week and they are quoting me $1,800 to fix the RH passenger side airbag. I hope your issue isn't as pricey as mine....

Would take it to get codes read too - bag problems usually aren't cheap.

 

I was driving and it just keeps on flashing. I was reading about the recall on infiniti's but don't know if my car's eligible...

 

My car also has the air bag light flashing.. 2005 as well

 

Buy the Airbag used(Never deployed) from KC Nissan for a fraction of dealer cost

 

I already had the airbag recall done, and now the light came on too as well after the fact,

do you know if uprev/ cypher can tell? or do I have to take it in to the dealer?

 

Had the same problem took it to the dealer & they fixed it for free mine is an 03 there was a recall on the 03 from what I have read!

 

Its crazy because my 05x recently had the same issue also. Took it to the dealer, ended up being that my driver side, side airbag needed to be replaced. Luckily I was covered under warranty! Sounds like a common issue on the 05's.

 

umm, it's a recall issue TSB!!!! This should be a free of charge replacement.

 

This issue just came up today on my 05 g35 sedan. I called the dealer and they said my vin wasn't eligeble for recall... =(

 

Undo the recall.

 

Have you tried to reset the light? If not turn you ignition off and on w/o starting the car 4 times. If it's not a serious issue with the airbag this should turn off the light.

 

not on 05/06 models.. it works for a day or so and then start blinking again.
