heads up on squeeling sound
I am taking my car in for service tonight. I am experincing a squeeling noise coming from the right rear of my car. It is a constant noise while I am drving, Some times it gets a bit louder when I brake. I thought maybe it was a cracked pad or something but I noice no unsusal marks on the rotor. I have the coupe 18's on there too. I dont think the dealship will have a problem with this will they? I just wanted to know if anyone had the same problem so I can get a heads up on what it may be. Thanks.

Most brake pads have "squealers" in them - particles built into the pad designed to make noise when the pads are wearing thin. If that's what your noise is, the pads did exactly what they were supposed to do: let you know there's a problem before it gets bad.
Infiniti ran a service campaign in which they would cover brake issues under 36,000 miles - you should have received a letter about it. If you have less than 36,000 miles, they have to replace the pads for you for free. Don't let the dealer charge you for it.

will... i had this problem with my '03 sedan (before the 3 yr/36k mile brake warranty came out). at first they tried to tell me that it was due to weather conditions, but then i brought it back in because the squeak wouldn't go away and they put a "new rear brake kit" (what it said on my invoice) on it. no probs after that.
i have read about a few people having some problems with their dealerships not wanting to replace their pads if there isn't any significant wear yet. something about them having to send in your original pads to inifiniti and the pads needing to be worn down to a certain standard in order for dealerships to be reimubursed. but, if you make a big stink about it, i'm sure they'll do the work. infiniti wants to keep their consumer satisfaction ratings high. good luck!
