Why did you buy a sedan over a coupe????
Oh, here's a few more reasons why I bought a sedan - propane tank for my grill fits with no issues. I stuck the ends of the bungee cords on the trunk net hooks.

And we made this trip the other day - here's what 4 pieces of 10-foot long 1 1/4" PVC looks like in a sedan. I realize if I got rearended some of it would have wound up through the dash, but I only had to drive a few miles like this.

Used these to build a small soccer net for my kids. BTW, the kids were in the car too for the ride home from Home Depot. Love my sedan!!

Dave B, some of your numbers are a little off. If you got an 05+, you wouldn't have to paint the lower sills, and $1200 for Coupe 18's ignores the fact that your car does need tires. I bought winter tires for my stock 17's and put summer tires on my Coupe 18's. Yes, I had to pay about $1000 for the 18's and tires, but it'll be twice as long before I have to buy tires again (50,000+ miles), and I get the benefit of season-specific tires instead of two sets of generic, average performance all-seasons. Besides, the Coupe isn't all that great looking, especially from the back end. It's only advantage (IMO) is the availability of projectors.
IMO, the coupe has this going for it over the sedan:
1) Lower center of gravity. You sit lower and the roof is lower. It is a big deal if you're tracking the car.
2) Factory Brembo option. Most don't need it and it actually stops fractionally worse from 60 than the base brakes, but if you're autoxing or road racing, having the larger rotors and swept area is ideal for extended and high mph braking. I'd much rather have a factory big brake kit designed for the car (ie stability control, distribution, ABS) than an aftermarket setup that might not work as well.
3) Much better front seats.
4) Projectors.
5) Great sounding stock exhaust. I wish my modded sedan's exhaust sounded remotely as good as my friend's bone stock Base 07 coupe's exhaust. Love that warble.
6) Fat rear fender flares. It just gives the car a presense that the sedan doesn't have. The rear flares on the coupe are 4 times as wide as those on the sedan. It also allows you to stuff lots more wheel width and tire out back without the need to stretching tires or rolling fenders.
7) Higher resale, forever.
8) Wider Base 17" rims (7.5" in the front, 8" out back) vs the narrow 17X7s found on most sedans.
It's a shame Nissan dumbed down the first sedan so much compared to the coupe. If they would have used the more aggressive projectors lights and housings, cut the roofline down just 1", and added some real fender flares, I wouldn't be having this discussion. Nissan incorporated many of these changes in the 2nd gen sedan. It's too bad they were so damn conservative on the first round of design.
Got coupe over sedan just cause I think they look 10x better. The coupe has a mean, sporty aesthetic look to it, while the sedan just looks like... a sedan. No visual appeal.
Also the sexy stock exhaust
Oh yeah forgot about this lol
us coupes save so much gas
whenever i meet up with people and we go to take 1 car to somewhere else or something, i know i wont be the one driving
sorry guys, got a coupe. gotta take %'s cr-v

Probably the meanest looking car sub $60k.
Definitely meaner than a sedan thats for sure.
and the 350z has a much meaner appeal and there's quite a few other meaner looking cars for less than a 60k
copy/pasted straight from first two sentences in description in my garage:
"My 04.5 AT sedan was initially a business minded purchase - needed to accommodate clients and make 200 mile commutes 2-3 times per week.
2 weeks after purchase, those needs changed and the life of the “Grey Ghost” took a more spirited performance related transition."

To be quite honest, I think the 2010+ g37 sedan looks a hell of a lot more aggressive than the coupe. The front bumper is sexy with the lower fog lights, and the fender flares just make it look aggressive.
Give me a 6MT in white with tint and I'll be a happy man.

Second one is debatable, but I'll give you first gen, base models, bone stock, the coupe is decidedly better looking
