and plus i cant find vibertam dvds anywhere anymore

 

03-05 use a different NAV version than 06-07.

03-05 is version 6.x

06-07 is 7.x


(07 is referring to the coupe)

I have a 2006 g35x also. I bought a 2009-2010 DVD (Version 7.5) off of eBay for like $40. It isn't the newest version but its way newer than the one that came with the car.

I also bought the car used and the original owners left their home address set as the home location on the nav system.

My old owner did the same. Judging by the car it was either female driven or it had some crazy sex going on. There was lipstick smudges in my sun visor and sunglass holder. Address still directly to the house in NJ, i got bored and google maped it and it looked really nice. Given my miles and years when i bought it, it would be off a lease car.



Any updated version is better then the orginal disc which is least 5 years old. I had 6.2 when i got my 05 sedan and i've owned 6.7,6.8 and now 6.9 while those 6.8 and 6.9 looks and feels the same, the GPS seems more accurate. At times i feel the GPS went off track, like say i'm on a highway and i take a bend in the road, it would think i took an exit in 6.7 but on 6.9 its doing a MUCH better job.
