The body isnt even that much different. The only thing that i would call a major improvement is the headlights. If i put 07+ headlights on my car, especially with the trunk i have, whod even know the difference

Like stated..i don't think i would notice 0-60 speed..but when going 50 or 40 and going WOT..i bet that's where you notice it.
It really is almost the same car on outside but headlights and taillight. Also a little more bubbly. if i could throw my steering wheel and headlights on a 1st gen..i would be good to go

You would notice the speed difference above 50MPH and going WOT. I always felt the 2nd gens were quicker from a roll...especially the 3.7L's.
There are obvious visual differences which are subject to the owner as to which is "better", but mechanically, an 06 and 07 are pretty similar. The 07 will have 20-something more HP though

After driving many second gen rentals I would call it an upgrade. First gen has more of a connection with the road and is more fun imo. Not as nice on the inside but still good looking.

The 2nd gens are definitely faster on the top end. My 05 would hit a brick wall at 120, my 08 pulls like a freight train until the limiter...

agreed, i didnt like mine either. It looks ugly stock especially with the gray sills, but it felt really quick so i bought it, a few mods completely change the look of the carOriginally Posted by Baliztik
The thing about 1st gen G's is that they grow on you. I didn't think they looked good. I thought the 03-04 was ugly until I owned one. I liked the Nismo front. But the 07 def looks better and is faster in my opinion. Interior I like the 05-06. The 07 is claustrophobic.

Maybe its just me, but any G (well, any Infiniti rather) turns my head??? I just notice every Infiniti on the road. I really don't have a problem with any of them, even the super old ones (circa 90s..)

I love FXs and EXs and consider there to be a lot uglier cars on the road.

^^^^ mad respect for using IDQ and Zapco for audio and looking at the engine bay seems like this vehicle was done correctly all the way around.
