New rotors, pads, steel lines installed

R1 slotted rotors, pads, and Russell steel braided brake lines installed. Flushed old brake fluid with new fluid.

Where did you get the SS lines from?

SS lines are one mod I want to do. I have them on my mustang and love the way they made the brakes feel after install.

Question on the front lines though. The stock setup is almost like two brake lines joined at the union that bolts to the knuckle. Is this setup still retained? Or is the brake line routing different?

Any pics of the lines themselves?

Thanks

I bought the lines off of ebay. Well it is all in how you have to route them with a sort of twist. The fronts are half the length of the stock ones and do not route the same. I have to check them anyways to make sure there is no rubbing. So maybe I can get a couple pics for you.
I had a set on my old Maxima and one side sort of came unraveled and began rubbing against the tire. I had it adjusted and it was fine afterwards.

my lines were a little diff than OEM. I got the Goodridge ones. They will rub unless you zip tie them outta the way/reroute it. Good news is that Brembo and non Brembo's are the same part number so when you do the Brembo upgrade you're set!

Are there any manufacturers which keep OEM style routing?? Zip-ties just seem like an unprofessional install.

Looks like a clean install. Did you buy everything off ebay? What was your final total for rotors/pads/lines?

Here is the routing, it appears I had a little leak, had to re-tighten this line. My dash lit up about a week ago and this is why. I added some additional fluid.

Yes, Irotors is the seller. The lines I bought separately, Russell brake lines. I think the total was around $600.
