Question FREMONT, CA Compression Rod Bushing Replacement

I need to find a shop that will replace the compression Rod Bushings in my 2003.5 G35 Sedan. I have the bushings, just don't want to give the dealer $330.00 for the labor. Can anyone suggest a shop in a 20-30 mile radius?
I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Bug

The arms themselves are easy to remove, Just make sure you have a torque wrench that will go up to 150ft/lb. I would look for a local mom and pop alignment shop to push the old ones out and the new ones in. The place that pushed mine out did it for $5 each. They would have pushed them in also (for the same price), but I went with Energy Suspension bushings and had left them at home. It was relatively easy to push the energy ones in myself.

I second that. If you have any technical ability, pull the arms and just take them somewhere to be pressed.

Thanks!

Thanks,
I'll give it a shot, I'm not afraid to bust a knuckle or three, just saw a couple of horror pictures where the arms were stuck and a sawzall and such were required to remove the arms....didn't want to be in a situation where my daily driver was on bricks in my garage and have to pay someone to tow it somewhere on top of the labor charges.

Thanks again,
Rob

^ Think you'll get a better targeted response if you post this in the Northern CA section. A local shop would also be quite cheaper than the dealer's which I'm sure the local members would know aboot & guide you to.

Also, not sure if you're close to G35Papa but I know he helps out local Norcal members.

If you get to that point, just stop and put the car together. But if ypu take the arm in with two bushings, it will be a he'll of a lot cheaper.

If Hayward is close enough... Motorsport Techniques is amazing.

Thanks for the shout out but I'm on retired status at the moment.

Def hit up the Norcal section. There are a few locals that can help with this.
