Need help on what parts to get 03 Sedan when trying to fix my car

I'm going to try to fix my car on my own, replace my shocks, and replace my muffler cause the flange is rusted and is disconnected to the midpipe. I'm having some confusion and need some help guys.

I ordered some HP Tokico Blues front and rear shocks/struts

Do I need mounts, boots, rubber bushings?
I'm unsure if I need to buy springs? I just want to go with whatever is OEM or matches to it. I'm a college student with low funds.

Also when doing the direct bolt on for the exhaust, was wondering what
parts I need to get, such as gaskets, ring gaskets...

Having some real confusion....

It seems cool to just direct bolt on and reuse my gaskets but the service manual says always replace them, but dont show any part #"s.

Gaskets are generic.. Kinda like buying a washer.. You can go into Infiniti/Nissan and purchase an OEM gasket and at the same time you can go to your local auto parts store and buy a gasket (make sure the size is right).

I don't remember you needing anything other then the shocks to replace tokicos but you will need a spring compressor to do the fronts.

Best of luck

Replacing shocks will only require basic tools and a spring compressor. You can usually rent them at autozone/orieleys/nappa, etc.

When you buy the exhaust pieces you need, it should come with the required gaskets. If it doesn't, try to get one at the dealer. You might be able to get away with re-using the gasket thats already on there but if at all possible, you should replace it.

Even for a novice, this job shouldn't be that hard. Hardest part is going to be removing the old shocks and compressing the spring.

Good luck and if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to post them up!

At least for my 2004 G, the dealership was THE ONLY place to buy the muffler to b-pipe connection ring gasket. All other connections require flat gaskets.

I've looked (in my area) and none of the muffler shops have a ring gasket over 2" diameter...we need 2.5" for the muffler.
