I had my switch out at one time, if I remember correctly the plastic pieces that you see/touch can be removed from the actual switch. The switches might be the same part, if that was the case you could still use the silver plastic pieces.
Def keep us updated, I dissasembled and cleaned the tilt and forward/reverse switches on the passenger seat and the tilt still doesn't work right. It actually fixed the forw/reverse though.

I, along with my wife's cousin who also has a G sedan, had the same problem. Both driver and passenger seats would't recline front or back or slide either way. I took the entire switch apart...down to the little metal ball underneath the little white slider inside the switch. The problem (in most cases) is the metal piece that toggles over the little ball that touches the bottom piece to complete the circuit when depressed is covered in sut, gunk, and other crap. you have to sand it, scratch it back to it's clean metal state. This is the easy part. Putting it back together is a #@^$#....gotta have alot of patience....but it can be done...I've done it 4 times....saved me hundreds of dollars....Sorry I didnt think of taking any pictures of video at the time....but if I do another one....I'll be sure to do a DIY or a write up.

Good luck to those who want to save money and attempt this. Trust me you won't regret it.

350z switch works/fits perfectly

I bought one from Nick
http://store03.prostores.com/servlet...-SWITCH/Detail

it works perfectly and he was super helpful. He even found another part so I would not have to buy a driver side dual switch.

Once again I have an 06 g35 sedan.
