did u ever get rid of the code p0507?
Check the intake coupler (the rubber piece that has 4round bulges, which connects the intake tube to the filter), Mine had a rip on the under side of it.

Yes I did. Thanks for following up. Instead of just doing the idle relearn and position relearn I did the ecu reset also. Hasnt been back on since.

There is a write up on here. I did ecu relearn then idle position relearn.

I'm having this same issue after getting my spark plugs and drive belts changed at a local shop. They called & told me the throttle body looked to be gunked up pretty bad & they would clean it. Thinking it being no big deal, I told them to go ahead. The SES light didn't come home until 250 miles later (drove back home for the weekend). I did the re-learn procedure and the light went off and stayed off for about8-10 miles or so. I took it back up to the shop today, waiting to hear back from them now.

If they didn't disconnect the throttle body properly before cleaning it they probably damaged it. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Just got a call from them saying that they did a reset and relearn using a computer which is better and more reliable than doing it yourself (I informed them that I had executed a relearn myself yesterday & that the SES light came back on). She said they performed theirs when I first dropped it off this morning and they have driven it around some today trying to see if the light would come back on and checking the idle. Says that it idles right where it's supposed to be and holding. I'll be leaving that base to pick it up in a little bit, I still have my doubts for some reason.

Hey I know that I'm digging this post up but I'm encountering the same thing. TB was cleaned without disconnecting the battery. Performed all the relearns and the light went off and rpms were where they needed to be. 120 miles later the light came on but rpms are still where they should be. Anyone encounter this?

If your idle's at ~650 RPM and throttle response is normal, it might be a different code. Get it read and check if you connect all hoses and clamps back.

That's what I'm gonna try today just figured it would be too much of a coincidence to be another issue...that or just bad luck.

Finally got obd2 reader. Showed no code at first so I cleared the light. But when I started my car again to make sure the light stayed off, the Rpms were higher again. I checked for codes again and it showed p0507 stored. Any thoughts?

Try leave the battery disconnected over night. Some people reported it worked for them.

If not, try the relearn procedure from this thread: How i fixed my throttle body after cleaning it!

This is my earlier post for your reference:

Car looks great btw, and 300 mile per fill up is not bad for an x.
