I have a 2005 g35 sedan 6mt rwd sport.
I notice when accelerating out of a 90 deg corner at 25-30mph in 2nd gear (around 2500rpm), a yellow light flashes on the dash, and there's no power. I'm expecting the back end to break loose, let me power slide, and gradually let the rear wheels hook up. But no. Instead, the power is removed. I thought about trying this at a higher speed /rpm in case there is indeed a flatspot in the powerband. Any comments ?
I'm guessing the flashing yellow light is a limited slip diff indicator. But even so, why isn't the power being delivered ? The car has tuns of power otherwise.

When the traction control (VDC) is on and it sense you losing traction, it reduces the power to help you regain control. The button to turn it off is by your trunk release.

^ Also its not a full "off" it just more lax. I had it bother me a few times here and their when I was autoxing

Mine didn't give me any trouble autox-ing, but I was new to it and taking it a little easier.

That's why I love my X. When the rear starts to slide in the corner, like a hard U turn, the power is fed to the front to yank me through until the rear stops spinning.

when the VDC is on and it since that your wheels are breaking free then it limits the amount of power that is getting to the wheels to keep yourself under control. If you want to let loose do some donuts and burn up your tires turn the VDC off and let 'er rip.

VDC OFF = new steering rack, tie rods, wheel bearing, and rim

Just don't be an idiot with it off. I've had my car since 2006, VDC off probably 25-40% of the time driving and I've never hit anything.
