Appreciate the kind words, but please remember I'm a novice just learning my stuff. I don't recommend ordering parts based solely on my recommendation - you really should get an independent mechanic to at least verify the problem before you start spending money.

^good advice, unless you are sure you know what it is, it might be better to get someone to look at it for you. You don't want to replace the thermostat and coolant only to find it is an issue with the radiator and the coolant needs to be drained again to remove it.

the radiator should always be full regardless. If it isn't, you have a leak somewhere!
