Billet Grills

I see many billet grills on Ebay for instance. I'm thinking of wither doing billet or painting my stock grill....possibly with Plasti-Dip.

Has anyone purchased after market grills and can comment on quality, fitment, value etc?

Please don't do a Billet Grille...They are hideous and look like braces.

I have a no brand eBay grille painted to match with the Stock Grille Emblem mounted to it.

Looks okay to me-Only $75 and painted for free.

I would avoid billet, I just really don't think it looks good at all. I painted my grill with plastidip and kept the emblem chrome and I really like the way it looks.

It's actually hard to find past-Dip around here. Ordered one can from Home Hardware a while ago. Did one can do it for yours?

Yeah, we managed 3 grills with one can. I put about 4-5 coats on mine, letting each coat dry completely before I applied the next. Took about 20 minutes or so. I picked up the plastidip at lowe's.

Let me finish the title of your thread for you: "...Should Never Be Used"

Just paint or Plasti-Dip your stock grille. I've used each on various cars, and they all turned out great.

yes please dont go with billet grills or ANYTHING thats chrome and shiny. Theres been WAY too many G35s that have owners with bad tastes that ruin these beauties.

Go with plastidip!!

Dont do billet or plasti dip bkth cheap and ugly. Get ur grill painted or DIY with some gloss and clear coat, it will look much better than that rubber crap in a can that is for tools.
