What's a PS cooler! I'm shopping for a G35 06 model and I'm debating between the coupe or sedan.

Downside of 4 window open

Thanks for the tip re hitting and holding unlock to roll down windows. Can confirm that all 4 windows rolled down when pressing and holding unlock. What I was not expecting was my bare *** in the middle of the driveway looking for a way to roll up all 4 windows! I had to get into the car, start and then roll up the windows. In reality, would not think of any reason to do what I just did in minus weather ! (as I just did). So, the ability to roll down the windows in high temps is awesome! Just does not matter when cold!!!!!
Regards

Wink Home Link

Most are wondering after programming garage door opener and front entrance lights what the 3rd button is for on Home Link.

Cannot confirm, but perhaps this is it?

1. Press unlock. Confirm that your significant other is receptive to being unlocked.
2. Press and hold all buttons while inspecting.
3. Turn clockwise, then counterclockwise, then clockwise etc.
4. Come up for air.
5. Insure that the reccomended PSI is maintained - failure to maintain may result in a sensor default - such as a flat tire Icon. If sensor default is not detected, steps 6,7 and 8 are usually a given.
6.Press up/down and repeat over and over again.
6. A high pitched whine will be heard but fear not, as this is in sync as long as proper lubrication has been afforded.
7. More than likley, you will get breakfast in bed if all the steps above are seen through to fruition.
Man, I love all that my G35 has to give!

Thumbs up

I think you can pick up one up on the Internet for free. Not as good as OEM however!

the windows will stop themselves from rolling up and come back down if you get your hand or arm stuck in-between them. didnt want to try it out on my own arm, but tested on a drunk friends arm last night lol. worked like a charm

Noticed this in 2005 G35. When we turn off A.C and the recirculation mode is off, there is still some air coming in since takes air from outside. put it on recirculation mode it stops.

Not really a tip or a trick for the Gs. Every car does that.

Re-circ button pressed = fresh air vent closed
Re-circ button not pressed = fresh air vent open

Do you by any chance how to get only the fan working with re-circ button pressed? In my g35, as soon as i press the re-circ button, AC comes on. But what if i just want fan and not the AC?

Put the key in the door and turn it left and hold it there to roll all the windows up. Turning it right and holding it rolls them all down.

Also, if you have a 6MT and lift your foot off of the clutch in first gear on an even road without giving it gas, you won't stall out. <Thats a not so fun fact...

good tips

My neighbors were amazed that i rolled the windows down via keyless entry, nice tip. BTW although the owners manual suggest any 530 weight oil meeting specs, i suggest a full synthetic and dont go beyond 5k for the drop interval. Mothers has a great polish for those fading plastic headlamp covers and it does a great job you just need a drill and the light restoration kit.

06 G35X premium/LED white lights/Liquid Platinum paint/OEM on Z rated summer tires
