The chrome trim? probably the same as the grill.

Remove from car, sand it down, paint with primer, then black, then clear if you want.

Yes. how can i remove it from the car? and if i remove it do i have to clue it back on? and thanks guys i been wanting to do this for a while now but needed some ideas on how to do it right.

Get it done with a vinal decal. That way you can remove it if you want. Painting chrome should be left to the pros. That is if you want a nice job that will last. Over the counter paint is not nearly as good as the product that body shops use. Unless of course you are going to take it to a body shop then thats a different story. Sorry I don't know how to take it off, but I have never had much luck doing it on other cars. I always bend it or mess it up.

Forgot what forum but I've read of using this to black out the trim. From what I remember you need 2 rolls for a car and you can get good results if you take it slow and carefully

i think ill just vinal decal it that way i can take it off if i don't like it. plus i wont have to take the trim off the car.
