New Cam Sensor and long start

Hey all, so my car started to die and started to have long starts once in a while. just keeps cranking to start. (2004 g35 base auto)

the code said P0340. so i changed the passenger cam sensor with a new one from Nissan dealer. for a 2004 350z ($89.50 btw)

i did the pedal reset and now every time i start it, it takes a long time to start and CEL comes back on. i pedal reset it a few times. i haven't checked the code. i'll do that today.

could it be a bad new dealer sensor?

thanks for any help

Hey thanks for replying. Sorry I meant ecu reset thru the pedal. I got it fixed btw.
My dumbness. I took the sensor back out. One pin was bent. Soo I straightened it and snapped it back in and all is perfect. Very responsive and very smooth. Quick start and no codes so far. Thanks
