anyone tried using a coupe front bumper?

i'm wondering if any of you sedan owners have tried to fit a coupe front bumper to your sedan. if so, what all did you have to do to get it to fit? any pics?

i'm just wondering because i picked up a nismo replica bumper that has a crack at the bottom and since it's fiberglass i'm going to go ahead and repair it and add a few layers of fiberglass to reinforce it. i'll also go over it with bondo and make sure any pits or small holes or anything are filled. it'll be awhile before i can get it painted so i'll go ahead and get it fitted and usable. i keep looking at the lines near the headlights and it doesnt look like its going to be too bad but, then again it never seems like it's going to be bad and it is. i also have the coupe grille incase i need it.

if anyone has tried this and can give me some pointers i'd be greatly appreciated.

or slice the bumper in half and mold the top half to the bottem half. Levon (I don't know what his screenname is now it used to be don pisto and then the stimulation) made a coupe bumper fit on his 05 sedan.

i tried searching but, only came up with the coupe front end conversion so that's the reason for this post. just wanna see if fitting a coupe bumper has been attempted.

The reason I believe you can't just bolt up a front bumper is because the coupe is wider than the sedan, the grill is different, and the headlights aren't exactly the same shape either. I forgot to mention the hood is different too.

We read the post, we gave the best answer.

Like g35sedangrn said you can cut it and mold it, but that's just too much work if you ask me. Just get a sedan bumper and do it the right way.

But its your car, do as you wish.......

Simple answer, it won't fit without significant modification by a body shop.

didn't mean to be a dick about it. just felt like maybe you and the other guy read the thread title and wanted the throw out the whole "search" thing at me.

i may just repair the bumper and sell it and use the money to buy an aftermarket bumper or most likely a tune. i know it'll be awhile before i'm able to get it painted anyway.

i'll repair the bumper then take mine off and see what the lines look like. i've got the coupe grille as well so i can kinda play with that or my sedan grille if needed.

if anyone comes across the other user that has done it please share.

It's levon, just hit him up, the stimulation is prolly his screen name now. I'm telling you the only way is to cut 2 bumpers up and then mold them.
