I just installed my megan racing catback exhaust along with my injen cai and I love them both. The exhaust made my car louder but only when I get down on the pedal. Simple install and a good product I believe.

Looks to be a Y pipe back (not cat back) from the pictures. And since it has / or should match the stock oem exhaust diameter, I don't know about any hp gains. Especially since it's using the stock Y.

IMHO only here, a better Y pipe would be a better first mod. YOu might like the megan now but add a Y pipe and that opinion might go out the window

I believe that is the cat back system, i got mine for 390 on ebay. The cat is just super small compared to the stock.

It is a y back, the catalytics are right before the y, what's on the exhaust is a resonator which is smaller than stock.

Cat backs would include a new Y pipe. As the Y is right behind both cats.

I wish we could get some pictures from the install and after. I have been watching these on ebay forever but never bid. I would expect some gain due to the 40lbs of resonator and muffler you are going to shed. Someone let me know if this would fit an X..? and I see them on ebay all day for 399 and free shipping, if you go to the website the cost more....

Srry i over exaggerated a bit, this one is 395 + 40 for shipping.

and i was under the assumption it was a cat back because even meganracing.com listed it in the cat backs system category, but i also noticed that most of the other exhausts came with a third pipe.
