wow its nuts because I may only be 22 but I know most of the classics you guys have driven. I still one day would like to get a '63 Split Window Vette and a '70 Chevelle 454. One day of course. Here is my evolution of cars

1989 Plymouth Reliant K - Decked it out with a stereo worth more than it, but never gave me problems, gave friends rides in it. Gotta love the bench front seat
1993 Volvo 850 GLT - Volvo says it all, 5 cylinder and electrical demons
2005 G35 AT - FWD vs RWD, RWD wins :-P

I have for periods of time over the summer driven some work trucks and vans, I drove our 1997 Suburban for a while, that thing is a tank. I did enjoy driving a F350 flatbed with the turbo diesel, that was fun especially because it was a 5 speed, granny 1st you could spin the tires.

I definitely think the Infiniti is my favorite so far, but then again its my first car that I've had thats not 1/2 my age.

The Charger was great, but it was a big car, and was pretty much just a street/strip car, with 4.56 gears in it.
The 79 TA was all original, only 21000 miles, even had original tires, still on it (Had to buy new ones, but kept the originals) This was a great car but because it was so original, I didnt want to modify it and hurt the resale. I love hopping up cars. So after about 8 months I had to sell it, "before I destroyed it" Took 2nd place at Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk Oh in 00 or 01, cant remember.

1ST car: 93 Volkaswagen fox 5-spd
2nd: 2000 Mazda 626 ES-V6 5-spd
3RD 2002 Nissan Maxima SE 6 spd
4 TH 2004 Nissan Titan CC LE 4X4 Auto ( first and last)
Currently 2004 G35 SDN 6 spd
Man every car I bought felt powerful at the time of purchase until I test drove the other. I think I loved the Titan more but the Auto was killing me, I have to be doing something in the vehicle I drive. See I'm a sucker for nice vehicles not matter what. I learned to drive in Dec 94 and it that 11 yrs I have wasted money on cars that I only keep for about 2 1/2 yrs. I think I have an illness, somebody help me

Though my 2000 Jetta was a fun car, I could not wait to get rid of the POS. The reliability on that car was as bad or worse than my FRICKEN NEON. Atleast the warranty covered everything, which I cannot say about the Neon.

The G is my funnest car. I once had a Datson 200SX. That was a fun car too and lasted forever.

'70 Delta 88
'78 Grand Prix
'88 Z24
'88 528e
'95 M3 (still own)
'88 Bonneville (still own)
'97 Escort (still own)
'03 G35 Sedan (recently purchased)

The M3 is still hands down a much better performing car than the G35.

My limited list

Ok, I am waaay short, but you gotta' start somewhere.

'76 camero, Straight 6 lots of power, but it had a whole bunch of weight to push too so not too fast off the line or overall.

'69 VW bug--After totaling the Camero, I decided to go small and modded the heck out of it. Dropped in the bus engine, dumped the front end, etc. one of the most fun cars I ever had.

80-something chevette Don't ask...

85 Honda CRX-- drove it until the Timing belt busted...it never was the same again. But it cornered like it was on rails.

95 honda civic DX coup-- my college car and worked well for what it was...great on the gas and dependible. drove it for 10 years until I stepped up into my

G

Not a very pretty pedigree I admit...but I have always been a late bloomer

it all started when I was 16 years old:

1974 Pontiac GTO - many said it wasn't a true Goat but it was the last year.
1988 Subaru XT - first awd and manual car I owned, great for College.
1991 Eagle Talon TSI - first Turbo car, wished I bought a manual trans.
1995 Chevy Z28 - Nice car, very fast.
1991 Nissan Maxima - Good car, bad injectors.
1995 Nissan Maxima - Pretty fast.
1985 Nissan 300z - Great car, Turbo and manual. Too bad it was totaled.
1990 BMW 525 - POS, First lemon I bought.
1992 Acura Legend - wish I never got rid of it, 230 HP and manual, RARE!
1997 Toyota Supra - WISH I NEVER SOLD IT, BPU'd 420 rwhp 12.1's 1/4.
1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 - Not too bad, cheap design.
went through a ricer phase....
1998 Lexus GS400 - Reliable car, Torque Converter installed 14.1 1/4.
2001 Acura CL Type-S - Great car, not as fast as others, sold it with 64K miles, still had original tires.
1998 Chevy Z28 SS - POS, Rearend problems.
1997 BMW M3 - Great Car probably my favorite car.
1995 Mercedes S420 - talk about luxury, had everything...except a/c.
2000 Audi A6 - 2.7 Turbo 6-speed, enough said, Fast.
2003 Nissan 350z - Good car except too slow and too bouncey.
2002 Corvette Z06 - 2nd Favorite sports car.
2000 BMW M5 - This car or M3 as my favorite non-sports car.
2001 Lexus LS430 - Only had it for a week, it had some sort of suspension problems.
2002 Mecerdes CLK 55 AMG - Good little car, sold it after I lost to a STI.
2004 G35x - Good car, probably ranks in the middle of my list of Sedans.

Lots of cars for a 34 year old...

Ok started driving when i was 16, but i drove my parents car and my sisters car, so i really didnt own.. neway

90 Volvo 740 Station wagon... Had that car since i was like 5 and lasted forever until we traded it in, n was i heart broken :'[ (parents car)

04 Honda Civic Ex... a cute small car, kinda sad its the 4 cyc its pretty reliable but an annoying car because some of the plastic parts in the inside come loose (parents car)

04 Honda Accord Ex (2dr)- A very nice car, kinda big for a coupe i think but my sister put like so many aftermarket stuff on it, that it was a sweet car to drive

05 Passat 4 MOTION- A reallyyyy nice 4 banger since its the 1.8 T, just that the steerin is tight n doesnt really loosen up after so many miles n lower to the ground then the g35x (twin sisters car)

05 Hummer H3- CAR IS ****IN SWEETTT!! It drives like a sedan, steerin is not tight at all, and has great pick up for only a 5 cyc and it even takes regular gas, ty 5 cyc!!! (sisters car)

05 G35x- My fav out of all, im used to 4-5 cyc cars, so the v6 is like AMAZING to me. Car is nice lookin, luxurious.. n as my sisters call my car "The Pimp Car" cuz my car is all black w/ the chromies..

I still got maddd love to my parents volvo, even the car had a lot of problems during its last life, its still my fav prob because we go WAYY BACK. Then the g35 then my sisters h3.. lol !!!!!

I'm young.

1999 Honda Civic - My first car at 16. Was decent & never had any problems, got me from point A to point B.
2005 G35 Sedan - Had it for only a few weeks now but I love it. What a difference from the Civic, I actually look forward to driving now as where beforehand it was a hassle.

I figure I might as well chime in (33 years old, BTW):

- '80 Malibu Station Wagon
- '90 Nissan Pathfinder SE
- '95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD
- '99 BMW 328i (favorite car, overall)
- '01 Mazda MPV (easily the most reliable car I've ever owned - just not big enough for us with the second kid)
- '04 G35x (still own)
- '05 Honda Odyssey EX-L Res/Nav (still own)

The G is certainly among my favorite cars, but I must admit that overall the BMW was my favorite -- the G is 90% of the BMW driving-wise, though, and it's more practical with AWD and bigger back seat.

I have a special place in my heart for Mazda and am surprised that, at the moment, we don't have one: The MPV was easily the most reliable car we've owned. The car was beaten up dragging the kids around and in its four years with us it never saw a dealer for ANYTHING other than regular oil changes. Not even a rattle, and I'm picky. We hated getting rid of it, but it was just too small. I almost went with the Mazda6 instead of the G a couple of years ago because our experience was so good with the MPV. Heck, even now with the Ody (great van) relegating the G to commuting duty I've considered a stick-shift Mazda3. My brother has one and after a year it feels as solid as day 1 (not a single rattle), hasn't seen a dealer other than for oil changes, and is GREAT fun to toss around! Oh, and he gets 27MPG in mixed driving with the 2.3L engine. My G is more powerful (weeeeeeeeeee!) and more refined, but it's also rattles much more and is on its second transmission and second CD-changer after just 12k miles. Sure, the dealer service is great - I just wish I didn't know the service writers as well as I do.

Anyway, still love my G.

I am kind of a car freak. I have owned over 45 since 1994, so I won't list them all. My favorites have been the Integra GSR Sedans and the 9 Galant VR-4's I have owned. AWD turbo is the best combo to have for power. It was so hard for me picking the G over the EVo VIII. But, I am growing up and want to devote more time to other things than just cars....
