I've got an 04 G coupe and 07 E90 335i, both cars are actually out of commision right now lol but the 335 is definatly the worse of the two. Right now as i type this it's getting the ignition coils and spark plugs replaced ($800) I've replaced 2 HPFP, steering clounm and A TON of other things. The car is a dream when it's working right, but I'm afraid that few and far between. Once I get it back from my shop today I will list it for sale

Don't get me wrong It's a great car and although I wouldn't do it over again. I know there are people out there that have not have any of the problems I have. I guess that's the risk you take when you buy a first year model..... Never again

yea stay away from the 335,. the 328/ 325 / 330i's are so much more reliable. especially the 07+ 328i.

again, bmw is new to petrol FI in production cars. they need a LONG while to get the kinks fixed.
