2006 g35

Hello all! I'm new here... I use to own a 2008 maxima SL with 50k on the engine and wrecked into a tree right before Christmas. I'm in the market to buy a 2006 G35 X or RWD with premium package w navigation w 40-60k on the engine. Here is what I'm getting at. I understand the 06 coupes got projecter bi Xeon head lights . Do the 06 sedans have the projector Xeon headlights as well?? Thanks in advance.

I'd say, it depends on where you live. If you plan on driving your car in the snow a lot of the time then get the AWD. If now then get the RWD. Living in the N.East I don't regret getting the AWD version. RWD is a lot easier to modify and cheaper to maintain. I'm pretty sure all of the sedans have bi-xenons.

I live in central Illinois and commute to saint Louis all the time. I live more up north so we do see lots of snow in the winter usually. In the Midwest tho it's a hit or miss being in the middle of the country. I'm more concernd to the answer of my question about these headlights tho. My 08 maxima had projector bi xeons and I loved that modern rich look. I just hope the 06 sedan Awd or rwd version offers it just as the 06 coupe.

Sure doesn't.

Comes with HID's yes, but not projectors.

EDIT: Seems the 2006 is showing D2S Bixenons in most lookup guides, so perhaps I'm wrong here and the 2006 DID come with projectors

You're the one who is incorrect, 03-06 sedans were never offered with projectors. But you can have them retrofitted,

I know what I'm talking about I owned a 2008 fully loaded maxima. Look it up 2007-08 had bi Xeon projector headlights on the SL models. They looked awesome. My freinds 2005 altima sl had xeons but not the projectors.. Even if you don't care just letting you know FYI

A retro fit is probably gona run you anywhere from 500 to 800, depending on the materials and labor, or you could always go with an 07 or newer g, which offer proyectors from factory.

Don't spend a ton more money on one with lower miles because 1) It will depreciate more than a higher mileage car and 2) You will probably never have to do any repairs anyway

I think you would be best off getting one with 75-85k miles

Sylvania's site is actualy showing the 2006 with a D2S Bixenon..... Perhaps I'm misinformed here. Sorry for the ignorant comments! I'd check into this further perhaps they put Bixenons on the 2006 model year...
