I'd love to have the GXP but it was well over $10,000 more to get into one. Crazy

As posted, the GXP can be had in a manual (and a very good manual at that)
But even the AT ones have a pretty responsive tip-shift.

The G8 GXP is available with an LS3 mated to a TR-6060.

The Commodore is supposedly coming back to the US as the "Chevrolet SS Sedan".
That rumor has been going for so long now that I've just given up hope.

Not in canada

the fuel mileage is aweful too, but apparently there';s lots that can be done to fix that.

I really like the color. Sort of the same metallic done on the G35 19s. Not silver but not gun metal either.

Interesting thing is that the ride is actually a bit softer vs my 18s. I note my tire pressures for the 18s were pretty high. Almost 40 psi but still? This is on the stock springs and shocks. Actually a decent ride height. But it does handle a bit soft for me.

Lower or not to lower? If I do lower, it has to be a small lowering job that's for sure.

Thanks. I'll probably do clear if anything. I usually don't mess with the side markers. but it does sorely need a HID kit though.

For exhaust, I plan on long tube headers and high flow cats so I'm not touching the exhuast until them. Most use the stock axle backs for noise reduction

Got the intake on. Considering the Cortex tuner for a quick reflash fix for now. it has ecu AND auto tranny turing.

Oem had a snorkal that attached to the radiator support sheetmetal. that drew air from behind the bumper area. So now it draws air from there and also from down below

I was able to get an used Superchips Flashpaq tuner for $200 shipped. It features not only ecu tuning (which made a much bigger diff than my Technosquare ecu tune on my G35) but more importantly TCM tuning. I can tune out as much / little of the oem torque management as I want. Adjust shift points (via rpm) and even adjust the downshift frimness. Can also do rev limiter adjustments and remove speed limiter. along with datalogging and OBDII trouble codes.

Pretty impressed. There's also 5-6 other maker tuning options that include simple flash tunes like I have to full on custom ECU / TCM dyno tunes.

That's one of my biggest gripes about the G/Z. They're way to frickin expensive to tune
