Yeah. I'm sure in Australia, it's like "oh cool". Here in the USA, it's like "ugh, when it it going to break?". haha

Nice cars, I was looking into them at one time but the interiors looked better in pictures compared to the feel you got when you sit in one. All in all they are good cars and captive imports as in yeah Pontiac is american but these are rebadged Holdens...

Def if you get one do a Holden front end swap! Much nicer.

Just bought some oem Camaro 20s in the optional midnight silver. Same paint scheme as the oem coupe 19s. Black base with a silver topcoat. Need to find tires.

It's going to look good with those wheels. I've been considering getting a G8 GT for the wife instead of an SUV. They're so damn big that they probably have as much room as a mid-size. Haha

Have you had any issues with the alignment? Mainly the car pulling to one side or the other? The reason I ask is because that's a known problem with them. Requires replacement of lcas.

Not so far. But yeah, I'm waiting for those to go so I can put the polys bushings in. Probably will do the strut mounts when I do the suspension and then inspect the ball joints and bushings etc.....

yeah buy a used or CPO 335i. I'm SURE you won't get one that has been abused during lease by someone that wore the engine down with a JB3...ahahahahahaha

^ is a couple of steps behind in the plot. I think the Holden swap would be cool and different, not too fond of the Ponty-whack nose.

I love the G8's appearance on every front, I wouldn't change it. Holdens are sick, and it would be unique, but they don't look as good at all.

How much do those camaro rims weigh Jeff?

They are 20s and are cast. I'm not doing myself any favors here. Picking up one of my coupe 19s and one of the rear camaro 20s is night and day difference

Would also be expensive and expensive. I don't have a problem with the small Pontiac add ons. It's a far cry from some of elaborate POS styling they've been guilty for before. I actually like the hood scoops. The funky grill, not so much. But the chrome will be blacked out soon enough

Every time I see a G8 i wish they made them in manual. They're just gorgeous. And I hate GM, but I can't deny those cars.

That's how I feel. But it has the el es joo (L76 actually), in a 4 door RWD sedan. Had to swallow some pride and pull the trigger. But it's a really good car so far.

They do, it's just that there aren't that many of them out there (1,829 units).

The G8 GXP is available with an LS3 mated to a TR-6060.

The Commodore is supposedly coming back to the US as the "Chevrolet SS Sedan".
