19" Coupe Rays on 05 Sedan

Just a quick question as to what would be the best tire sizes to run.

I know the coupe rays are 19x8 and 19x8.5

I am lowered on Tien Basics

I don't want to rub and i don't want to run a ton of negative camber.

My tire guy says to run 225/35 front and 255/35 rear is this ok and will it rub or mess with the VDC.

I just want to be safe before i buy any thing the tires are expensive haha.

Thanks

Those sizes will work just fine, but the rear tires are going to be pretty meaty on an 8.5" rim.

I say 235/40 and 245/40 will work up to a 2" drop and no less than 2* of camber.

I ran 255-35-19s and they fit perfect. You might/might not need a slight fender roll.

The 225-35s are too small up front. 225-40s would be better.Or maybe a 235-35

Oh so its ok to run 225/40 front and 255/35 rear i thought the 40 needed to be front and rear or visa versa for 35. can someone post a pick of this set up. I want to make sure it looks good

What you have to understand is that you have to keep the overall tire diameters correct. 35 / 40 aspect ratios don't mean anything by themselves.

I think I had my 245-40s on the rear but essentially, it's the same look. 225-40s up front

RIP!

245/35 front, 255/35 rear (I did have to roll the rear fenders, though you may not with a bit more drop):
