Turbo?

So I found this on ebay..

What do you guys think? Would it work? What is the most psi I could run this at without upgrading my engine?

If you're going to spend all that cash on a turbo, you need to spend the extra money to get a reputable brand, from a reputable vendor/shop, and get it installed by a reputable shop. You'll be glad you spent the extra cash when you don't have to deal with problems from a cheap turbo.

To be honest if your gonna cheap out might as well don't even start modding the car.
At the end you'll end up coughing up double, sometimes even more.
Just start saving.

Your state observes CARB, so it would be illegal to drive on the street.

Sure it'll work. Probably going to need to custom bend the piping for the intercooler though, looks like a standard universal kit. As for the boost, I would say don't run more than 7psi without doing some more work.

I would rather spend 450 on a turbo than 500 on an exhaust. A good turbo kit is like $3,000 and I don't have that kind of cash right now..

Go ahead and spend 450 on that turbo kit your going to spend more on getting that turbo kit to work then it would be to buy a pre fabbed kit. What are planning on doing for engine management? I have used a eBay turbo on my gst and it lasted but mind you it was made specific for the gst. This is a universal turbo kit. Honestly save your money. When is the last time your vehicle was serviced? I would start with that before modding. Make sure you car if 100% perfect before boosting.

There is no way a turbo cost that much. If it did everyone would have it. If you want that you can take the gamble and get it.
