The first thing I'm doing to my G once I buy it is having the windows tinted. I've seen window tint get scratched all to hell by the weather seals on multiple cars before.
My question is this.....which of the following scenarios best describes the G35?

1. Weather seals are lined, perhaps have some type of felt/fabric on the areas where the seal makes contact with the window
2. Weather seals are not lined and if they aren't either removed or having aftermarket products installed (i.e. Moleskin) they will scratch up the tint
3. None of the above

I think they have a thin felt-like strip that runs across the rubber seal when the window rolls up/down into the door. Is that what you mean?

Not trying to criticize you but...You have a G....why don't you look for yourself?

to answer ya question is it 1.. You should not have a problem after the window is tinted

Thanks! In my Ram, I had to remove the weather seals so the tint didn't get scratched. I was hoping this car wasn't the same!
