Okay. So I want to harder my Portable GPS's charger to my battery. Im pretty sure you are all familiar with where the cigarette lighter is. When I plug my GPS in, It always gets in the way when shifting into 5th. Can someone tell me what type of cable I would need that connects from my gps to the battery? My the part that goes into the GPS is a mini usb (The small trapezoid shaped usb).. But ya.. Can anyone provide me with instructions on how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

^ he's talking about GPS not RD. OP if you mount your gps on your cubby hole run the wire behind the cubby hole. Drill a hole and run the wire down behind it and have it poke out enough to reach the cig lighter

I don't think you get what I want to do. I want to avoid having to plug it into the cig lighter. It gets in the way when I shift.
How do I run the a cord that will charge my gps to my cars battery?
