Powder Coating Question

Hey guys! I have an 05 diamond graphite G35x and I want to get my stock 17'' rims powder coated. These are my options: gunmetal, flat black, or gloss black. I wanted to know what you guys think is the best option. Pics of how these color look would be appreciated

did you determine those colors or is that what your powdercoater told you?

There is an unlimited number of colors for powdercoat, so why pigeonhole yourself with three colors?

Of those choices I would go with gunmetal.

Gloss black but before I even do that, I suggest you drop the car to make it look descent with the wheels.

Rather just get new wheels than bother to powder coat stock 17s. They aren't really worth it to powder coat IMO.

Those are the three I picked and couldn't decide on.

You could paint them yourself for MUCH less than you will pay for powdercoat. If you take your time and use proper prep they will come out great.

I've used duplicolor wheel paint(they carry gunmetal and racing silver) great stuff!

Also I painted my maxima sawblades with gloss black caliper paint and it looked sick. Go for it man!

The rims on my 05 G35X have seen better days - they kind of detract from the rest of the car. I had planned to get them refinished, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the time and money on the 17's. So I picked up a set of the sedan sport 18's from the for/sale section here and had them powdercoated silver;

Media blasting and powdercoating ran me $200 for the set. The powdercoater could have done other colors (including Hyper Silver) but there was a $75 upcharge for a different color other than white, black or silver.
