How 's it going. I decided to tackle the rebuild on my 05 automaic myself. Got a rebuild kit from Cobra Transmission for about $400. Kit includes all clutches, seals and gaskets. Taking it apart is pretty straight foward. There is a video on you tube that is helpful, plus I have the manual. While I was taking it apart I notice that the N-spring that goes in the reverse clutch assembly was loose and laying inside that tranny pan. This was while I was halfway through
the dissamsebly. Makes me wonder what could this have caused the trans to do. Im rebuilding it because it was sliiping in 5th gear. The problem I now have is that I have no idea how the spring is suppose to go. The manual has drawings which are not helpful at all. Can anyone help?
