WHAT Is This Noise?!?!?
#16
I think its rubbing from the rotors by the shims, so you might have to grind it down a bit. I got the same issues but as you drive more and more seems to go away. Only time I really hear it is when I don't drive it for a while after it rains. But I'm going to get new rotors, pads, and ss brake lines soon so i'll take a look at everything closely to see what is really causing that rubbing issue before installing it.

If it sounds like something is dragging (hard to tell in the video) it's probably not the pads. If you had your brakes recently done, someone probably yanked the disk with the dust shield. Put the car on ramps (or safely jack and put jack stands) and put a screw driver behind the dust shield and bend it back out enough so it doesn't rub on the disk.
Thank you guys! It was the dust shield rubbing against the rotor Such an easy fix.
Hopefully this thread can be helpful to someone in the future!

Can anyone do me a favor and maybe post a pic of what this dust shield looks like? I recently got my wheel bearing replaced on the front left wheel and I am now getting this noise again!!! I'd like to just do it on my own rather than taking it back to the guy who did the wheel bearing work because it's about a half an hour away.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
