LOL did the same thing with my 4th gen maxima! I even swapped the rear port windows...piece of cake!Originally Posted by AARONHL

After inspection and proving the court I passed inspection, I didn't have to pay any ticket. Sold the car before I was able to buy an extra set of windows.

I currently run 35% all-around and it's fine.
I originally wanted to run 20% all-around, but the law in Ontario states that the driver's and passenger's front windows can be no darker than 35%. In my opinion, it looks stupid when a car has two different tint grades between the front and rear windows, so I put the 35% all-around.
Plus, I don't know if you drive your car at night or not, but anything darker than 20% gets tough to see through at night.

In NY they only accept 3 conditions and those are pretty extreme conditions.

i personally have 35% on all windows and 20% on the backwindshield...my favorite set up (not too dark, but great for heat/glare rejection)
but if you live in HOT climate.. like in the durrrtttyyyy south/florida/texas,etc.. i would do 21%.. I am talking like 100+ constant summers..
35% if you have trouble seeing at night..
BUT!! a must is to tint your front windshield.. i worked in alabama for 6 months and it was SOOO hot there during the summer, I tinted the front windshield 70%.. the best thing i did...
