Thanks tuner, Ill take more pics tomorrow.

I had a few scares though. I bend one of the pins, had to straighted it back up. Also, before nothing about the molex, I cut a hole in the rubber boot to see if I could fish the wire through the frame. So I had a hole in the boot but I used some black silicone gasket to patch it up.

thanks for the pictures.... cant wait to put my wires threw the molex

my mirrors don't lag... may be the wiring you did to the switch... i am guessing you are running all 4 signal wires to the switch?

Nah, I ran two wires off the switch and feed it down to the pedal area. Then I spliced both mirrors there with the switch lag tail. So I have 6 wires altogether.

What you do?

It doesnt bother me anymore, becasue by time you look at the other one, its closed.

Dont you have different base in use?

I have both jdm bases.

If you have usdm or mix of both that would change things a bit.

Like said before if the driverside base is angle in alittle more, which we know by the mirror view. Naturally it will close a hair faster because theres less distance to cover.

my passenger side close all the way that's why i also posted up a picture of it closed all the way in the video all that light in the background makes it seem like it don't close all the way but it does

my driver side is off by about a half inch that's because i am using the USDM mirror base

but as soon as i have free time again i have a few things in my head i want to try out to make the driver sie close the same as the passenger side

if that fails then if i have to go to the JDM mirror base then i was thinking of doing something like this for a lil bit better viewing on the driver side i have a lot of ideas in my head but i am to busy to try them out right now

this would be used with the JDM mirror base

In for updates, I haven't had time/ambition to mess with mine anymore. I am thinking I'll just put the DIY together for those who need it, and everyone will have to figure out what bases they want to use as a personal preferance.

ok so i got tired of how my driver side mirror did not close all the way so i switch back to the JDM mirror base on the driver side

but then i notice that the passenger side with the JDM mirror base did not close all the way like the driver side

so on the passenger side i switch to the USDM mirror base now both sides close the same

Yea mine is like that too. My driver sides closes more the the passenger side and I'm using both jdm bases. I sure though that has its suppose to be. Because if you notice on both versions of the cars neither base is on the same angle.

USDM Base = Driverside Wider angle (Their Pass), Pass. Shorter angle(Their Driver)
JDM Base = Driverside Wider angle(Our pass.), Pass. Shorter angle (Our Driver)

So you can use the USDM base Driver and have a normal mirror view and a jdm base pass. and have an jdm view on that side and both will close the same but not as close a we like.

Or you can use the jdm Pass.Which is our driver side and have a bad view but a close fold, then use the usdm pass. and have a normal pass view and you will have them both close the same very close.

It all makes since now.

I'm change my base Pass. this weekend and see how it looks.
