Ok so that's where you got the impression of 'molex' for identifying this connector
Cool beans.

Anyways, although that guy did a great write up, don't do that. That's horrid.

I stopped reading it when I saw this:
"STEP 4: Drill Holes Through the Molex Connectors"

So much for 'clean and OEM' Ridiculous.

POST #36 and POST #38 in this thread are how I did this. Super, Super simple. No drilling a bloody weathersealed connector or any of the nonsense that involves.

I bet you that guy did all that work then realized at the end that there's a hole immediately under the connector that is less than 3" away, and shot himself in the head

Looks awesome! Nice work man.

As for the wires, maybe the picture is just deceiving, cause int hat picture they look kinked over a fairly thin edged steel. Anyways it's all good man whatever works for you!

Already fused with the standard tilt power supply unless you ran dedicated power somehow?

Tuner - oh yeah forgot the factory fuse box has one..

Neo - I am using the driver side USDM mirror base

And JDM mirror base on the passenger side

Until I figure out how to make the driver side to fold like that passenger side when the USDM base is on the passenger side

So how far you with the usdm base on the driverside? I saw you sanded some stuff, that wasnt enough to much the two look alike?

Looks just like mine. Sounds like JDM_Cain's is the same as this also.
Thanks so much for the picture man!

His fold in looks the same as mine was with the USDM base. So it seems everything is the same in what we've done with the Left side between the 4 of us and the end result. Good.

Now we need a picture of how much the JDM base -equipped Right side folds in, and it's viewing angle.

I don't look for it, just feel for it.

But all you need to do is turn the steering wheel slightly to see it just fine.

My setup is completely custom, dedicated separate lighting.

If you want yours to work all you need to do is hook up the ground wire for it to any Illumination Ground.

There's 2 ground wires one is for the switch one for the bulb.

And the bulb might not be any good, dunno, you'll have to check that also.
