Now I cut out that piece but I see in your pic you have a indent in the area I circled.
Do I need to do this too?
Or you were just being extra

USDM Base modified = 1 1/8"

USDM vs. JDM Driverside (Pass.side for us) Diffenence of about 1 13/16"

Which is pretty big in this view of things.

JDM Base Driverside/ Our Pass.

JDM Base PAss.side/ our Driver.side

With a JDM PAss/our driver - USDM Pass.
theres a 3/4" difference. But its hard to tell.
Both mirrors are pretty tight on the glass.
Plus the driverside doesnt have room to move in anymore b.c of the mirror glass being angled out so far.

Do any of you have measurements for the usdm base on the driverside being modified?
I'm sure it will end up further out b.c the base is angled out more.

nice work!! just a bit different but like you said its hard to notice

the driver side with the USDM base sticks out more then the JDM base did not look good at all

Man neo you are spinning me in circles. lol

LEFT is LEFT when sitting in driver seat.

Right is RIGHT when sitting in driver seat.

Regardless of which side you sit on this is always true. Perhaps we can change our wording in this thread to USDM LEFT and JDM LEFT, etc? make more sense? Cause this driverside/pass side stuff is just mind boggling confusing to read/figure out.

lol

Yeah I know, lol.

Will I think we are about done knowing what we need to know.

General notes. Bases!

Best viewing base are of course USDM Bases both sides.

Best fold-in look JDM Driverside, USDM Pass. Side.

Im thinking of trying that lil mirror idea you have.

Agree, JDM left, USDM right. That's what I"m running. If we can find a way to better the viewing angle now we're golden!
