Like I said, if you use the USDM base the mirror won't fold in all the way, it looks kind of silly. Like it's broken. especially when compared to the other side.

But not having proper viewing angle on the driverside mirror is aggrivating me already. I need to find some resolution here.

Manually tilting the motor more won't work either because it's recessed and if it does tilt anymore all you see is the housing, you don't even gain anything lol.

Yea I tried to move it with my hand too. No more room plus it just isnt the right way.

So when you install both USDM mounts do both mirrors fold in the same amount? Or the pass goes in more. In the pic the look pretty much the same.

Im happy if they just fold in about 90 degees of the fold out position what which it looks like on your car. I play with it tomorrow and see how mines look in person.

Just sent a text to JDM_Cain asking if he could take a look at the questions and pics posted here and maybe post his thoughts and pics of his setup.

No if you put them both on the USDM bases they fold in very different. look closer at the pictures and you'll see the driver side is not even close to 90*

With the JDM base on the driver side it sits at 90*. With the USDM base on the passenger side it sits in more than that. Looks so awesome.

Which was my thought as well. Until I try the JDM base on the passenger side I won't really know.

Or until I get pictures from NEO and JDM_cain with their setups.

Or both, really, if we want to get conclusive answers here.... I know I do.

And looks like they may be coming

You need to heat the rubber butyl before reinstall. It's the same stuff used in headlight housings. It's recommended you replace it.

oh man that's not good you should have took the greyish putty glue from the JDM mirror glass and bracket and put it on the USDM mirror and bracket.... that's what i am planning to do

so right now my JDM switch is not working i think its for a different Nissan

right now my JDM mirrors are stuck folding in i need them to be folded out to fit in the USDM mirror cover

can i just hook up the 2 wires to the battery to make them open?
