They don't look too aweful in pictures, TBH, but they will in the car, they'll be slippery and also impossible to keep clean.
Not to mention they add weight, and what are you going to do in the rear? Just leave the stock mats there?
No, just skip this one, but what mats did you picture originally, those aren't OEM are they?

Infiniti ones for sure! I would imagine that any dirt on your shoes would scratch up the finish on the aluminum ones. They would probably look good for a few days and then start to scratch and scuff pretty bad.
As for the weight, I'm guessing that the weight of the aluminum ones wouldn't be too much more than the carpet ones.
If I were to get the aluminum ones, I would either add lots of clear to them or finish them with some sort of brushed finish so that it would hide the scratches and scuff marks and it would then be easy to sand out any marks and re-brush the aluminum every few months or so. With that being said, just get the Infiniti ones and forget all about the diamond plate ones.
