Painting Calipers... Black or Red?

The title says it all. And in case it matters, very soon, I will be painting my stock rims hyper black.

Black if you have stock breaks, you don't want them standing out.

Black (or silver) for sure, no reason to draw attention to OEM brakes.

ditto. I did silver on my OEM 2 pistons. Looks OEM but cleaned it up.

I've done black before on calipers. It was semi regrettable. I kinda cleaned up the look, but if you looked for them they appeared to be smaller.

Anything else on stock calipers is rice.

^ stock calipers usually look rusty or ashy. Nothing wrong with painting them black or silver to make them look clean

i got a red kit for free. whenever i have the time, i'll be doing it red.

anything is better then rust.

Agree. I always lol when i see painted floating calipers. Just leave them alone or wash them.

Yes. I always see it as pretty rice. They are crap OEM brakes, nothing you color them will make them anything else.
