Is this Normal? Both Fans Constantly Running.

Hey guys,
As stated before just purchased a 2005 G35x and I am now trying to work through the bugs, First off I have noticed both of the Efans constantly run(stock fans). Is this normal for these cars? Also my AC will only kick on for 15-20 seconds when the car is first started then kick off, could both of theses issues be related? Should also say that the engine temp never crosses half on the gauge in the car so the temp stays on the lower side. Thank you for your replies.

Brady

It's most likely your thermostat. Same thing happened to me- fans running non stop but the temp needle never rose above half way at first. Swap it out for a new one before you start over heating. Your AC problem sounds like an electrical issue but I'll let a more experienced member chime in on that one.

Have your ECT sensor checked as well.

Hey guys,
Well I replaced the thermostat with one from the dealer and noticed as I expected the one that was in there was a 180deg stat which is not OEM. I now need to burp the system. Does anyone have a good link to a how too? The reason i ask is i beleve i have it pretty good but both fans still are running. Also where is the coolant temp sensor located?
Thanks guys,
