Question Intelligent Key just died. Please help.

I have no idea what my dad did to the system but none of my Intelligent Keys are working now. I've tried searching for related topic all they have is to teach how to program new remotes to G35s that dont have one originally.

Please help. any link and picture any thing will help. I wanna try by my self before taking it to the dealer.

Thank you

You'll have to tow your car to the dealer or find a locksmith that can help you out

Are you able to unlock and start the car using the key inside the intelligent fob?

Bingo! Use the physical key, then drive it to the dealer to have them see what's up.

it sounds to me like the intellegent key antenna inside the trunk lining, might have gone bad, or it could be it simply forgot the programming, that does happen.... it can be only a few things
Intellegent Key Antenna bad
Batteries in all remotes bad
Programming corrupted
I can't think of anything else it could be, IF it's remote related

Your signature says you have a 2005 sedan which doesn't use intelligent keys. You should be able to reprogram you own remotes assuming batteries in the remotes are good.

False,
2005 have an option for Intellegent keys, so it's entirely possible, he has intellegent key system, and it's pretty obvious if you do or not, one is a big old key with seperate remote,
and one is a little remote with a key blade inside it.....

I wish I had Intelligent key, my sister has it in her 05 and it's soo convenient, even better than most push to start systems since you don't have to apply your foot on the brake to start the car

I have one on my 05 g35x and I love it. Especially the door button when your hands are tied up you can just tap the button to unlock all the doors.

OP, was it working before your father "messed" around with it? Did both work before and both stopped working simultaneously? If that's the case it has something to do with the programming. Otherwise, best thing to do is buy a new battery for the remote and go from there. $5 vs bringing it to the dealer for what could be a simple fix.

Also, your dash key will blink faster as it gets lower on battery life. Changed my battery and the light went away.
