Compression rod bushings (issues after changing)

Hey guys, I'm in the deep right now... Got my compression rod bushings changed to Energy's poly bushings 2 days ago. The guy messed up everything. Now the 2 ball-joints on the compression rods are gone, can I find these alone? My bet is that I need the whole arm now but if I can change only the ball joint on each it I'd appreciate...

Plus, he ****ed up the 2 sleeves where the bushing sits in, on one he stripped the threads, and on the other he did a cut about 1/8" depth on the sleeve part, where the bushing sits... These rods doesn't look like they were meant to be changed during the life of the car, they look welded inside the body...

Any ideas/suggestions?

Only thing that I could picture right now is the half stripped rod, the car is running right now but I need to change the compression rods or just the ball joints (but they don't seem to be changeable on this arm), so at the same time if there's a way to change the sleeves that are stuck to the body I'd do these too...

Chances are the ball joints were already shot before you changed the bushings. Everyone is so set on changing the bushings only, and wonder why the dealer will only replace the whole rod at one time!!!!!

Whole new arms are in the mail and should arrive tonight, the ebay seller guaranteed that coupe and RWD sedan uses the same compression rod. Makes sense to me, will find out soon...

Still stuck with the studs that are bad and doesn't seem changeable...

^Look up your local body shops that specializes in frame repair. They might be able to re-thread the rod that you mentioned is stripped. If the other one has been cut into, they are probally going to have to weld to fill it in.

Yeah I was thinking of rethreading it myself actually, I worked as a millwright for some years and I just need to find myself a threading tool. For the cutted pin, it sits right beside the fuel lines, so I will need to cover these pretty well, just in case I was hoping someone could point me if they are swappable, instead of having to work these out..

Thanks guys for all the inputs !
