Help with radiator support clips

Got no response in the tech section....so posting this here:

For some reason my radiator has become disconnected and has sank down a bit.

I see that there are 2 butterfly looking support clips on top that hold it. They are supposed to twist and lock into place. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect them to the radiator and hold the radiator up. They fit up against the 2 ***** on the radiator fine, but dont lock up in any way. I dont see anything broken/missing from what i can tell.

Does this mean the radiator can also be out of place somewhere on the lower side of the engine bay where it sits?

Help!

They don't hold the radiator up. They just hold it in place. There should be rubber things on bottom of radiator that hold it up

I took a look. One of the ones on the bottom is completely broken off. My mechanic says there is really not way to fix it other than getting a new radiator. If this is the case, i am just going to leave it as is.
