Back from playing in the snow. About 6 or 7 inches + out there. Will be going up to 14 to 18 inches. The car handles really nice in the snow even with the stock tires. Of course if you gas it a little too much, you'll get the "slip" signal on the dash. Other than that, it's solid. Anti-lock kicks in when stopping at the light. While bmw rwd/mustangs were crawling/slipping/hardzards on, I was passing them with ease. Went into an empty parking lot and did some donuts. Nice!!! Attached is a few pics I took in the parking lot.

Hehe...I know our AWD doesn't come in stick and it's heavier, drains more gas, etc. I admit all these are true but one drive in a heavy snow like today, the AWD is all worth it. Cracked me up when I see the other cars STUCKED while it's rolling...hehe. I had a tough time getting my accord to pull into a spot today. The front was slipping. With the G35x, you just take it for granted because it rolls right into the spot as if the 7 inches of snow doesn't exist. It's probably more close to 10 inches by now...

I don't know...

We don't get many bad winters here in Washingon. My car is a hell of a lot more fun to drive on dry pavement (sport package). I can toss my car around....make the tires spin....it just brings a big smile to my face on nice days. The X brings a smile to my face on big snowy days....

It's simply a numbers game......

Many thanks to all of you that reported back to me, I appreciated your eXperiences and yes even the Poloroid's....I'm sooo envious. Myself I decided to keep my current ride the Blazer in the HanGer for the duration of the Blizzard of 2XX5. I was however able to talk a few of my more adventurous neiGhbors in to a little alternate transportation...by foot. And wouldn't you know it not 15 minutes in to our walk a Black '04 G35X passed us by (Milkee2 were you in Huntington last night?) I turned to my friends and shouted "Look Out" "Watch that XcarGO"

Looking forward to the Blizzard of 2XX5 part dux....hopefully by then I'll be in it.

Stay warm, be safe......

ive made it threw everything except a 2 foot mound at the end of my driveway. i had it in reverse with snow mode on and the car got stuck on the mound. only 2 wheels were on the snow, the other two were off the ground. i ended up getting it out after i turned the VDC off and snow mode off and just rocked it back and forth.

other than that it handles incredible in the snow, even better than my dads awd vw phaeton.

HAHAHA What do you think ur car is a tank. If you do decide to attempt to drive though a 2 foot mound of snow u need a lot of momentum so you can get yourself through it.

i gotta say, the X is a monster thru the snow.. esp with snow mode on. i was pulling out of a deep snow bank this morning left by NYC's finest sanitation department, and i didn't even have to dig around the car too much... the neighbors were stunned at the ease in which the car got itself out! i LOVE AWD!!!!

My brother actually got stuck in his FX (with Sport/20's) with the POS Goodyear RSA's. He had a hard time getting it out of the driveway. Me on the other hand, I was parked right behind him and pulled out w/o a problem in my X. I did have the tires changed to Pilot Sport A/S' though..The car drive's great in the white stuff!
