Unhappy Oil pressure light comes on when I turn

I tried searching for this but couldn't find anything on my specific situation.

When I make just a left turn my oil pressure lights comes on and when I straighten back out the light goes off. It also comes on when I make a sudden stop and then goes away. I'm really confused on what it could be, Please help!!!

just add about 1/4 qt of oil and see if the light goes away. Over filling it by 1/4-1/2 quart wont do any harm.

Agree. Don't trust the dipstick just yet. Do an oil change and see how much comes out of the pan.

If you really want to check the dipstick, don't do it with a warm engine or immediately after driving. What i do is park the car on a level surface, then pull the stick and wipe it but don't put it back in all the way. Let the car sit a couple hours and then push the stick all the way in and check the level.

There's really only 2 options and the 2nd one is unlikely

1. Oil issue (low, low pressure, etc)

2. Wiring to the Oil Pressure sensor is rubbing when you turn and shorting out
