Bad fuel mileage?

Wow, some pretty high figures here! I have a 2001 540i 6-speed (with dinan intake, air flow meter, throttle body, exhaust, stage 4 software) and get about 18.5mpg average 50/50 city/highway, and here I was expecting for the 05 G35 I am about to purchase would get me at least 400 miles out of a tank!
