rust patches not sure what to do
Hey guys, so I have some rust patches on many car already. It's a 2006 and I take care of the paint so it's a **** off. I have rust on my B pillar, both patches are onn the front door, and I have first under many tail lights in the corner. All are in the same spot except on the mirror side of the car so it's clearly a defect. The patches are not too big, I would say the size of a quarter each, probably smaller. How should I too about doing this? Anyone know a reputable place that won't charge an arm? The car is black btw

In fact, only my front driver door was rusted on the outside, real ugly. The rep told me to look at the rear doors, open them, lift the little rubber and look under it. There was indeed some rust there, that I'd never see unless it was way too bad. My front passenger door had only a 1inch rust line on the inside welding and they did change it anyway. If your local dealer doesn't want to do anything, I'd suggest you try Infiniti US and tell them that you are really disappointed about that issue, and that it doesn't carry a good image of the company to see a 2006 vehicle rusting.

b pillar rust
My 9.75 year old G35 is getting two new doors in the near future because of B pillar rust. Three years ago, another door was replaced for the same reason. I have one door that doesn't have any rust on the B pillar.
On page 4 of my New Vehicle Limited Warranty, 'perforation' is defined as "a conditiion in which any body sheet metal panel has corroded from one surface to another." This definition is what clinched the deal for my doors. The issue had been the definition of 'perforation' and I was able to point my service people to this definition, which is exactly my rust situation.
Good luck.
